I don’t know what’s more unusual, the fact Edson Buddle didn’t score or that here we have a rare photo of Galaxy owner Uncle Phil Anschutz laughing it up with Assistant Coach Cobi Jones (referred to inexplicably in the AP Photo caption as an “unidentified member of the Galaxy”).

Alan Gordon’s well-timed diving header from a Landon Donovan free kick (the goals from set pieces are back) was the difference on the scoreboard.

Mr. Galaxy listed as an unidentified member of the team….that’s classic.

Score should have been 8-4 on a night when defense was optional. Amazing number of shots on target by LA but only one goal. Great game to watch and BIG, BIG result @ 5260.

A bit worried about no change in the lineup and late substitutions given the fact that they’re in the middle of 3-games-in-7-days swing. Guess Bruce wants to amass as many points as he can before USMNT call-ups drain the roster.

Crapids played well. Don’t know what Nicol was thinking by trading away Larenowitz (spl). I think he is national team material if healthy.

Gordon scores great goals when he does. A poor man’s Martin Palermo.

Uncle Phil looks great with his Galaxy cap.

    He’s injured (left foot contusion).

Is Eddie Lewis still on the team? He hasn’t seen action in some time.
