    Agreed, memorable tournament but you must give a shout out to the South Africans for putting on a good show. Better yet, you MUST recant all the negatives and the scare tactics you were dishing out against attending the games there.

    Job well done Africa. Give us/US the 2018/22 and we’ll top you yet. Now excuse me but I must attend the developement academy finals at HDC looking for the new breed of American elite players. There is no rest in soccer.

    Just because the World Cup was not affected — that we’ve seen reported — by South Africa’s many problems, does not mean the problems do not exist, and are not serious.
