*Senior Lindsay Bullock scored a hat trick, junior Nicole Hubbard scored twice and Long Beach State (10-3-2) drubbed Cal State Fullerton 5-2 in a Big West Conference match at Titan Soccer Stadium.

*Senior forward Farryn Townley scored a school-record 20th goal of her career as Cal State Northridge (9-7) beat UC Riverside 1-0 in a Big West Conference game.

*The Loyola Marymount women (8-5-1, 0-2-1 WCC) remained winless in the West Coast Conference, losing 2-1 to Gonzaga in Spokane, Wash.

*Pepperdine (7-5-4, 0-2-1) hit the woodwork twice, but lost 1-0 to No. 2-ranked Portland to remain winless in West Coast Conference play.

*USC (8-4-3, 1-2-1 Pac-10) drew 1-1 against the University of Oregon in Eugene.

*The UCLA women lost 3-0 to Oregon State in Corvallis.

*UCLA freshman Kelyn Rowe extended his scoring streak to six consecutive games as the UCLA men (9-3-1, 4-1-0 Pac-10) beat Cal 1-0 in double overtime to pull into a first-place tie with the Golden Bears in the Pac-10.

*The Cal State Dominguez Hills men (10-2-2, 8-2-2) retained their lead atop the CCAA South with a fifth consecutive shutout, defeating Sonoma State, 3-0.

*West Torrance High product Jessica Murphy scored yet again for Cal State Dominguez Hills (10-3-1, 8-3-1 CCAA) in a 1-0 win over Sonoma State in Carson. She has scored four of the Toros’ last five goals.
