The home loss snapped UC Irvine’s eight-game winning streak, handed them their first conference loss of the season and gave the Anteaters a taste of their own medicine – the Matadors battled back from a one-goal deficit to win on the road, just as UC Irvine had done two weeks ago in Northridge.
*ESPN released today the results of a study conducted during the World Cup that concludes “enjoyment” increased by all of 5 percent to 70 percent for fans viewing in 3D compared with regular HD. Five percent? Woo hoo. No wonder there have been reports recently questioning whether 3D is really striking a chord with viewers.
