Zarek Valentin is the younger brother of ex Galaxy defender Julian who also won the NCAA championship, with Wake Forrest in 2007, before being drafted by LA. That final was made famous with the way current MLS player Roger Espinoza planted his cleats square in the face of Julian which took a long time to heal. Zarek has just been called up by Rongen for the U23′s but IMHO he is a marginal player at best just like his brother.
