Said Conrad after signing with Chivas USA via the Re-Entry Draft:

“The funny thing is people used to say I was young and slow. Now they’re saying I’m old and slow. At least there’s one thing that’s been constant in my career.”

Somehow, after witnessing the team’s Swiss cheese-like central defense last season, I’m guessing not too many Chivas USA fans are laughing.
