Galaxy's Jordan gets on track

Galaxy midfielder Bryan Jordan, the pride of Temple City, will represent the Galaxy and MLS in the Super 60 II Friday at the 104th Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden in New York City (live 5 p.m. ESPN2).
Jordan faces Super 60 champion and former NFL star Anthony Dorsett Jr.; Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones, a former track athlete; former NBA star Jay Williams; former MLB All-Star Junior Spivey; and Olympic bobsled gold medalist Steve Mesler, a former decathlete.
Apparently Jordan got involved after meeting hurdler Lolo Jones at the ESPN the Magazine "The Body Issue" launch party. Can you blame him?
Jordan ran track until his freshman year in high school and said he ran a 4.3 40-yard-dash, Galaxy officials relayed.
"He has not run 60 meters ever, actually," the Galaxy spokesman said.
Ulp. Good luck, Bryan.
Jordan, 25, has made eight starts in the last three seasons for the Galaxy, scoring two goals.
