USC product Amy Rodriguez of Lake Forest scored the U.S. opener and midfielder Megan Rapinoe the second for the U.S. women today in a 2-1 win over Japan at the Algarve Cup.

Former LA Sol midfielder Aya Miyama got Japan’s goal.
