Chivas USA 1 Chicago Fire 1

Staff Writer Phil Collin has the game story.

Watch:

Quotable:

"I thought we started off tentatively," said Chivas USA Coach Robin Fraser, "played a little bit nervous early, too many turnovers. We certainly have been emphasizing performance and execution and that sort of thing in front of our goals. I think the guys came out a little bit tight tonight and it took us about 30 minutes to settle down and once we settled down, we had some very good moments again."

Notable: With the tie Chicago equaled the club record for draws in a season - 12. The Fire are unbeaten in their last eight MLS matches and have not lost under Interim Coach Frank Klopas.

The Fire play the Galaxy next Saturday in Carson.

Next for Chivas USA: the San Jose Earthquakes 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Home Depot Center.
