MLS Cup tickets went on sale today for Nov. 20 game in Carson

Tickets start at $30 for the 6 p.m. Nov. 20 game (live on ESPN and Galavision) at Home Depot Center. Call 1-877-3GALAXY.

The Galaxy lead MLS with a 12-2-9 record.

It’s the fourth time MLS Cup has been held at the HDC:

*In 2008 the Columbus Crew beat the New York Red Bulls, 3-2, with Guillermo Barros Schelotto setting up all three goals.

*In 2004, D.C. United defeated the Kansas City Wizards, 3-2.

*In 2003, the first year the stadium was open, the San Jose Earthquakes defeated the Chicago Fire, 4-2, with Landon Donovan being named the game’s MVP.

    I’m too lazy to look it up but we hosted the MLS Cup at the Rose Bowl at least once if not twice and missed out playing in those games as well. I remember Chicago winning theirs here in front of over 50,000 in 97 or 98. We need to break that jinx and we need a forward to do that. Are you listening Bruce?
