Galaxy-Vancouver Whitecaps video highlights

If, like me, you attempted to record the telecast of the delayed game on your DVR and were screwed by Fox switching channels and times (that’s the sort of care and attention a league/sport gets when a network loses the rights to that property the next year, I guess) these YouTube highlights might be as close as you get to seeing anything.

Looked like another dominating Galaxy win though.

Robbie Keane continued to make fans forget all about the brief Juan Pablo Angel era, Temple City’s Bryan Jordan became the latest unheralded squad player to have his moment in the spotlight and the growing cult-like status of Mike Magee added another chapter.

Count me as a Magee bandwagon member. I hope he continues to make a name for himself – it’s a pleasure to see him play for the Galaxy, but I’m hoping he can go abroad to make a decent salary (Becks, Keane and Donovan make 23x, 35x and 65x as much as Magee, respectively – and he’s definitely holding his own with them).

I would think his awesome strike against Man City a few months back, and scoring goals in these games featuring Keane lends him a decent limelight in which to be noticed.
