Tuesday’s Column: Chivas USA sees ray of light

I’ve largely been ignoring a largely terrible Chivas USA this season.

Last weekend I checked in on them expecting to write their season obituary. Instead the club is alive and kicking and building for next season with renewed hope and expectatation.

There’s a long way to go, but Coach Robin Fraser has a vision and he’s sticking with it.

Off the field the club has its issues – a lack of a fan base, stadium and revenue stream – but on it there is indeed a flicker of hope.
