*Learn more about this charity event here. It's for a good cause.

Learn more about eligible bachelors that include goalkeeper Dan Kennedy, Michael Lahoud and Justin Braun.

I will say however, judging by those profiles, that Chivas USA players are doing nothing to dispel the reputation that soccer players have appalling taste in music (Dave Matthews Band? Justin Timberlake?) Sheesh. Someone take these guys on a date to listen to something a little more cutting edge will ya.

Oh well, at least Lahoud & Co., have an Old Spice sense of humor:

*Meanwhile, the Galaxy have their own charitable event on tap this weekend.

*Former Cal State Northridge striker Kristy Krohn, who has a Brazilian boyfriend, is playing professionally in Brazil with Santos Futebol Clube (yep, Pele's former club). Krohn held the school's all-time scoring record until last season.

*Lynn Berling-Manuel, chief marketing officer with the South Bay-based American Youth Soccer Organization, has joined the advisory board of the newly formed National Association of Tournament Directors. Berling-Manuel, who was recently inducted into the California North Soccer Hall of Fame, has over 30 years of experience in the soccer media and marketing industry

*A former Chivas USA coach will soon meet King Tut.

Finally, now we know why David Beckham skipped the Galaxy game in Mexico earlier this week.
