*Hermosa Beach resident Abby Wambach and Dancing with the Stars star Hope Solo join Diamond Bar's Alex Morgan and former LA Sol stars Marta and Aya Miyama on the 10-player short list.
Swedish U.S. women's coach Pia Sundhage is also up for FIFA Women's Coach of the Year.

*Robbie Keane will make his first public appearance for the Galaxy Tuesday at the Home Depot in Huntington Park, 3040 Slauson Ave., from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. along with Jovan Kirovski signing autographs for the first 200 fans in attendance .
*The Galaxy's latest injury victim is Bryan Jordan. Issue: left middle finger tendon - rupture. He's listed as out for the first playoff game. Bummer.
