Galaxy learn potential Western Conference final opponent

That would be 2009 MLS Cup champion Real Salt Lake, should the Galaxy see off the New York Red Bulls Thursday at Home Depot Center.
Despite failing to score in the first half, the Sounders made a game of it in the second 45 minute stint, but fell short and lost to Real Salt Lake 3-2 in the Western Conference semifinal.
UCLA product Tony Beltran of RSL deserves the Goal Line Save of the Year Award after a magnificent diving header to prevent a certain Seattle goal.

Also tonight, the staggering Colorado Rapids couldn't stay with Sporting Kansas City who advanced to the Eastern Conference final.

RSL hacked their way thru to the next round. This was the worst butchering job disguised as a soccer game since the KC vs Crapids game just preceding it. Paul Gardner will have a field day with these sorry excuses for the beautiful game. Two more to follow on Thursday night, I am sure.
