Galaxy’s Donovan could play first EPL game for Everton Sunday

Landon Donovan was scheduled to link up with the flagging Liverpool club today – earlier than planned – and could find himself in the squad for the New Year’s Day game against West Bromwich Albion, according to this report.

The game will air live in the U.S. at 4:30 a.m. Pacific on Fox Soccer Plus.

Would like to watch the game… but not at 4:30 AM. I wonder if they will re-broadcast it later in the day.

Darn Brits… can’t speak English properly… they call Soccer “Football”… and they play it in the middle of the night… you would think they are on the other side of the planet or something.

Not according to Landon’s tweet earlier today:

Am I the only one who finds it amusing that players from the Mickey Mouse league (as dubbed by the always accurate British media) can walk straight in to the starting XI of an EPL club? Heck, even Henry will be doing it too. I’m sure Beckham’s old legs will find some time on the pitch at Parc des Princes. You know Keane wouldn’t have much trouble either.

The blog has not been updated lately but some big news has been going on.

    Ronaldinho is out.
    Beckham is going to resign.
    Lampard might be coming.
