History beckons LA Galaxy, Seattle in MLS Crunch game

Seattle Sounders 0 Galaxy 3

Second leg kickoff live at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

On what will be a cold, rainy night in the Pacific Northwest — with conditions deteriorating throughout the game — more than 40,000 fans will watch to see if the Sounders can pull off an historic comeback or the Galaxy reach a second consecutive MLS Cup final.

Seattle understands the enormity of their task — as do the wary Galaxy.

More on the Eastern Conference final is here (kickoff is at 1 p.m. on NBC Sports Network).
