there is something fishy about the Donovan to the Galaxy release from NT camp. there was absolutely no mention of his ankle “injury” during or after the Jamaica game. Donovan was pissed for being pulled and had an exchange with Klinsmann that he said will “remain private”. Then comes the camp release excuse of the old ankle injury the next day. The question then is why was Donovan allowed to go to KC if he was not fully fit? Is this the case of Klinsmann’s ego trying to subdue the best American player of all time? Is this the case of the Country pillaging the clubs over meaningless games because Klinsmann wants to be seen as a “good sport” by the Mexicans by fielding the “strongest team”. I would file for rape charges against Klinsmann if I was Bruce Arena.
