Galaxy with slight edge ahead of Western Conference semifinal decider Thursday in Salt Lake City

Most observers predicted a tight one goal game and that’s what we got in the first leg marked by a moment of brilliance that will live long in the memory.
Still, it’s only halftime and I’ll have more on the Galaxy and the MLS playoffs in general in Tuesday’s column.

Which was more unlikely: Franklin or Pando Ramirez? (Anyone? Anyone?) Just like then, I’ll take it.

I’ll make the same prediction for Thursday: if anybody other than Donovan and Keene scores, the Galaxy win.

    Also, it won’t end 1-0.
