Weekly Soccer Column: Final World Cup draw is Friday

worldcuplogoNow that we’ve got the day’s MLS news and announcements out of the way — including the Galaxy’s Robbie Keane and Omar Gonzalez being named to the MLS Best XI — the World Cup draw Friday can move to center stage.

FIFA clarified today what nations are in what pots ahead of the draw set for about 8:45 a.m. Friday.
