After just 148 minutes on the field in MLS over seven games with just one assist, Mexican striker Adolfo Bautista has become the latest player to wash out at Chivas USA, which is picking up and discarding players at a seemingly increasing rate.
Bautista, 34, who played for El Tri during the 2010 World Cup made his Chivas USA debut March 9, but barely lasted two months before the club and player mutually agreed to part ways.
“We want to thank Adolfo Bautista for his dedication, commitment and professionalism during his time with our club,” said coach Wilmer Cabrera. “He is a respected leader on and off the field, and we wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors moving forward.”
Was that sarcasm, do you think?
