Are the LA Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City set to test the patience of fans Saturday at StubHub Center?
It would sure seem that way.
On Saturday the Galaxy will welcome Sporting Kansas City to StubHub Center, a visiting team that combined with Real Salt lake last weekend to register just one shot on goal in a 0-0 stalemate.
Ugh!
No wonder the Galaxy are offering half price off tickets to the game.
Check out how Sporting Kansas City fared in their last outing:

LA Galaxy to participate in International Champions Cup and will reportedly play Barcelona at the Rose Bowl this summer
If you enjoyed watching Manchester United rip the Galaxy apart 7-0 last year then you’re in luck: the next club to victimize LA will reportedly be Barcelona at the Rose Bowl on Aug. 1, according to The Washington Post.
The game would be part of the grandiosely named 2015 International Champions Cup North America, a third annual tournament that this year pits Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Porto, Club América, Fiorentina, the New York Red Bulls and San Jose Earthquakes against each other.
Holding the Barcelona game Aug. 1 would force MLS to move the previously scheduled game that day in Colorado against the Rapids, but hey, who cares about the sanctity of the league schedule when you’ve got a meaningless money-spinning friendly to gouge fans with instead?
“This is the most storied and successful club in MLS and competing in this tournament gives our fans an opportunity to see the Galaxy face the most successful clubs from other leagues around the world,” said Galaxy President Chris Klein, apparently with a straight face as he anticipated the
cash influxum, game. “We are looking forward to continuing the tradition of bringing global soccer to Southern California this summer.”
All 17 games will be aired on Fox Sports 1 and 2.
How delusional are the organizers of this rubbish?
“Through our tournament and commitment to putting the best product and teams on the pitch, we will continue to grow soccer both domestically and abroad,” said David Tyler, CEO of (Ir)Relevent Sports.”
@LAGalaxyInsider @GalaxyPodcast @LAGConfidential it's a sophisticated money-grab. Hope for no injuries and limited embarrassment.

Torrance, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Diamond Bar represented on USWNT World Cup roster selected today
No real surprises. Veteran Shannon Boxx — a long-time Torrance resident and South High alumnus — is not from Redondo Beach where she lived just briefly, but local representation includes Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills Estates.

Weekend MLS Video Rewind: LA Galaxy clean Redondo Beach then dust off the Seattle Sounders in Carson win

Quotable:
“We had our chances, unfortunately we didn’t finish them,” said Seattle striker Lmar Neagle. “I personally had three that I thought I could have done a lot better with so it is a frustrating game knowing that we played pretty well and were in control of the game in the beginning and then one free kick changes things. It was frustrating, it seemed like we were getting the bulk of the chances and not being able to finish, some of them were a little bit ridiculous, on our part, and on (Penedo’s) part, (he) had a great game.”
Notable:
With 10 saves against Seattle, goalkeeper Jaime Penedo was one save shy of tying the LA Galaxy franchise record of 11 in a single match.

Bottom Line:
Solid goalkeeping keeps the #Sounders at bay in a 1-0 defeat.
