MLS Monday Video Rewind: “Lousy” LA Galaxy saved by late-goal Alan Gordon again in fortunate 1-1 tie with Colorado Rapids

Game story

The Galaxy are on arguably the worst four-game uneaten streak in club history with only another Alan Gordon header saving them from an ugly looking loss to an unimpressive Colorado Rapids side in front of a sparse crowd and now head out on a three-game road swing, their longest of the season.

Quotable:

“That’s my family,” said Long Beach native Alan Gordan of the fans chanting his name. “I paid them to say that. If you want fans, you’ve got to invite the family.”

Notable:

The Galaxy are winless (0-2-2) when trailing at half time and after conceding the first goal this season.

Tweet Time:

Bottom Line:

“The game was lousy, and everything with it was lousy,” Galaxy coach Bruce Arena was quoted as saying after the game.
