- As new Galaxy signing Sebastian Lletget trains with the team — and could make his debut Sunday in Florida against Orlando — coach Bruce Arena has ripped the process of signing him as “blackmail,” which should cost him a healthy MLS fine if history is any guide.
- Meanwhile, tickets to the Galaxy’s July 21 Rose Bowl game against Barcelona go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. The cheapest tickets are $40 or about $1 a minute to watch Lionel Messi play an expected 45 minutes or so of soccer.
- Speaking of money, it will cost BIG bucks to take in Steven Gerrard’s final Liverpool game at Anfield this weekend before he heads to Southern California.
- Finally, Orlando plays D.C. United at 5 p.m. today live on ESPN2.
