Tickets almost gone for Didier Drogba-Gio dos Santos face-off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday when the Galaxy hosts Montreal Impact in Carson

Galimp

The Galaxy are urging fans to get to Saturday’s MLS game early with limited tickets remaining and a capacity crowd expected.

From the Galaxy press release:

Due to expected heavy traffic and congested streets for the competition, all fans that do not arrive by 6:30 p.m. PT risk missing the start of the match. With a capacity crowd expected Saturday for the evening fixture, fans are also encouraged to carpool to StubHub Center for the match.

While spaces are available, fans are able to tailgate in select StubHub Center lots before the match, starting at 9:00 a.m. PT through Gates A and D. All other parking gates will open at 4:30 p.m. PT.

And while most fans will be there to see dos Santos, let’s not overlook a certain Chelsea veteran who was named MLS Player of the Week after his three-goal outburst in his MLS debut for the Montreal Impact.

The media is certainly salivating all over it in Quebec.

I don’t know whether that says more about Drogba at age 37 or MLS, but check out his hat trick below:
