The team opens Olympic play Aug. 3 against New Zealand.

USWNT star Christen Press of Palos Verdes Estates joins Fox Sports 1 @theBuzzer
USWNT striker Christen Press has become the first active athlete to contribute to FOX Sports’ @TheBuzzer, the network’s digital sports series.
“Working with such a cool digital series like @TheBuzzer was such an attractive opportunity for me and I am so thrilled to be a part of it,” Press said. “It’s great that I get to talk about the sport that I love, being on the other side of the camera, and help it grow in a new and different way.”.
From the Fox Sports press release:
Press makes her @TheBuzzer debut as an embedded correspondent with the American Outlaws in Pasadena leading up to kickoff of the CONCACAF CUP between Mexico and the United States on Saturday. She also joins forces with Pilar Perez from FOX Deportes to set the scene on the field prior to the historic showdown as the rivals prepare to battle for a spot in the prestigious 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, and is part of FS1’s special 90-minute pregame show live from the sold-out Rose Bowl beginning at 5 p.m.

Notable: Through their first 100 games, Keane’s 66 goals only trails Carlos Ruiz (67) and Roy Lassiter (71) in MLS history.
