Here's a flier going around Carson in advance of tomorrow's vote:
In response, the Dear campaign has noted that recall organizer Vera Robles Dewitt has contributed more of her own money to this campaign than any of the corporations that have contributed to Dear, which is true.
The charge about taking communion was news to me, so I asked Dewitt what she was getting at. She said that Dear attends St. Philomena's at Carson and Figueroa, though he has told audiences that he is a Methodist. "For him to go take that wafer is an affront to every good Catholic around," she said.
The Dear camp declined to respond to that.
