Crank-y callers

Here at the Daily Breeze, we get all sorts of e-mails and phone calls (sometimes) praising and (often) complaining about our work.

And, boy, some are doozies.

In Saturday's paper, for example, we ran on page A-3 the photograph pictured at left.

That's neighborly of him to bolster property values by keeping his Torrance house tidy, right?

Apparently not.

As you might notice, holiday lights were also dangling from the house's eaves. One reader thought the lights were offensive and we should run a retraction.
