Your wallet might be feeling otherwise, but economists say the dismal economy won't hit the South Bay won't be hit as hard as other places, according to a new study released today. The area's economic diversity and "relatively well-educated work force" will save the South Bay, apparently. So, quit your whining and get back to work!


Two Gardena gang members have been charged in the May murder of a local shopkeeper, a brutal crime caught on videotape.
