Jane Harman was on Andrea Mitchell's show today talking about Afghanistan. While she praised Gen. Stanley McChrystal, she also said she doesn't think now is the moment for a surge of U.S. forces:

What qualifications does Jane Harman have when it comes to military operations....none. She is in her comfortable home in the United States and doesn't have to worry about what the troops are going through in Afghanistan and what is needed. We are fighting a war that the American poeple don't see day to day, but we are losing troops everyday. Give them the personnel and equipment they need to fight the war so we can bring our troops home to the United States so they can be comfortable in their homes. Jane Harman...please, who is she again?
Jane Harman is a lawyer..as so many worthless politicians are these days. She has ZERO qualifications in the area of military strategy. She is just another talking head grabbing for attention on a hack network. Thanks for reminding some of us why we keep voting against you Mrs. Harman.
Will Jane ever come before the voters in this area and answer a few questions? Or does she expect to stay insulated from the riff-raff and post her comments on friendly news shows?
