Ball Drive update

As of noon today, we have less than 100 balls donated so far for our 10th annual ball drive. Last year, we had about 2,500 donations. That means we need to pull in about 400 a day for the next 6 days to beat last year's record. Sigh.

There are a lot of golf balls and basketballs in the mix. So, I am about to hit up the Galaxy to see if they want to donate some soccer balls.

If you'd like to help, balls may be dropped at the Daily Breeze lobby from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last day to make donations is Dec. 14.

And, in case you didn't know, our office has moved. The Daily Breeze is now located at 21250 Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 170, in Torrance, just south of the Borders bookstore.  The balls go to Harbor Area Boys and Girls clubs.
