Dear Gene Maddaus,
I want to take a moment and wish you a wonderful holiday.
As I celebrate this season with my family, I realize how thankful I am for them, my staff, and the incredible opportunity to serve my constituents and have wonderful supporters like you. We've already achieved a lot this year. We've worked for change - for good jobs, access to quality education, funding for lifesaving local services - and Californians everywhere are taking notice. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with you in 2010, speaking out and doing what needs to be done to put California back on track.

The fact that Janice Hahn thinks she "has what it takes to put CA back on track." is laughable.
Does she have the intestinal fortitude to help turn Sacramento around? Will she confront the unions and help bring the states civil service salaries and pension system under control? Will she have the chutzpah to buck her own parties proclivities and cut the red tape that is strangling all the businesses in the state and driving up costs for the state through its contractors?
Will she help push through tax hikes at the state level similar to what she pushed through in her time on the LA city council?
Will business men state wide get to look forward to similar demands from her for wage hikes statewide as she pushed through for airport workers? Can we really afford that with unemployment in the state at the highest levels in over 70 years?
Can the CA economic engine really afford more progressives like Janice Hahn in Sacramento?
where are the pictures
Enough of Hahn's meaningless lies and promises. The truth is Ms. Hahn is loosely qualified now and was inadequately qualified in 2001 when she coat tailed on her brother mayoral race and her father’s name. Fast forward to 2009 and it is not Janice’s qualifications that make her the wrong choice: It is her failed leadership and political practices.
When you remain silent and allow the Police Chief to take 40 cops out of your area during a time when the city adds 1000 cops to the force because you need a political endorsement, when you allow Eastview Little League to stay in limbo for 5 years then displace these children to play in an area you yourself have called “the diesel death zone,” when you divide a community on Ponte Vista because you fear any decision would hurt you politically and hope to delay a decision until you are out of office, when you blatantly lie to your community about a Proposition (Prop A) you sponsor to help yourself during a time you are under investigation for misusing gang prevention funds, when you can not develop the waterfront because you are at odds with the Port and the Mayor as a political strategy, when you are compromised by donors from outside your district because they account for 85% of the money you raise, when your home town has added more tattoo parlors than schools, bakeries, libraries and cops combined during your time in office, you do not deserve the communities support or deserve to be its representative.
These are the reasons to oppose Janice Hahn for Lt. Gov, City Council or even the PTA. These are the facts, this is her record.
