Randall Carroll is committed to USC and might be the defending state champion in the 100 and 200 meters, but here's a fact that not many people might know about the running back from Cathedral High in Los Angeles.
Carroll hails from Inglewood, meaning he is in the heart of Daily Breeze territory.
Carroll has several games against local teams this year, inclding Sept. 19 at El Segundo, Oct. 10 at Morningside and Del Rey League games at St. Bernard on Oct. 24 and against Serra at home on Nov. 14.
The game against Serra might decide the Del Rey League title in the regular-season finale, and it will give South Bay fans a chance to check out Cathedral's brand-new stadium that has field turf and a color video scoreboard, making Cathedral one of the few schools in the state to be able to offer fans replays.
Keep an eye out for Carroll this season.
