Gardena football coach Marshall Jones will be in a unique position next weekend. He graduated from USC, but he is a lifetime Ohio State fan.

So after watching Ohio State eek out a close 26-14 victory over Ohio on Saturday, Jones caught his breath and began looking to next Saturday's Ohio State-USC showdown.

"My players will probably give me grief about this game today for a week, but I'm confident that we can rectify that next week," he said.

Jones said his sister graduated and works at USC, his mother retired from USC and his brother and sister-in-law also attended USC.

But Jones went to several Rose Bowls between Ohio State and USC and has remained a consistent Ohio State fan for life.
