ECC, Harbor set for openers

It's time for the South Bay's two junior colleges lay their cards on the table and show what they've got in their openers.

El Camino hosts L.A. Southwest today at 6 p.m. in a nonconference game as El Camino hopes to overcome the loss of a stellar graduating class. Expect Coach John Featherstone to produce another strong season.

Harbor hosts Long Beach City in a nonconference game as it tries to step out of the shadows cast by El Camino. Coach Andrew Alvillar and his staff are working hard, and we'll see how that translates into the game in what should be the more intriguing of the two matchups.
