Carson Colts had several missing links i.e. injured key players and still managed to beat Banning Pilots at their Homecoming game. Enough said. Go C-House, Go Big Blue,Keep the tradition going!!!

Actually it was 27-20 Colts. It wasn't Banning's Homecoming game just always packed at Ferragamo Stadium. Morrell Presley played well with 6 catches for 106 yds and two touchdowns. Tony, maybe you can tell us when was the last Banning victory over the Colts?

It wasn't the Banning Homecoming it was senior night & we will see them again in the playoffs!!!

Tony Ciniglio is an 11-year veteran at the Daily Breeze and is the Prep-JC Editor. Dave Thorpe

Dave Thorpe was a self-proclaimed, slightly above average baseball player back in the day at Torrance's West High, who went on and had an unspectacular, injury-riddled stint as a third baseman at El Camino College. Trading bat for pen, Thorpe wrote sports for the Long Beach Union newspaper at Long Beach State University, then worked as the sports editor for the Palos Verdes Peninsula News for seven years before climbing down the Hill to the Daily Breeze, where he has been a sports writer covering local sports for more than two years.
