Wow!! Am I the first one to comment tonight? Well, it surely was sweet to get some PAYBACK against Quartz Hill (Defending Western Champs)! Kyle Brooks who averages 147.5 yds per game, couldn't have had more than 25 to 30 yds rushing the entire night. He only showed some flash of elusiveness on Kick Off Return, but he couldn't break one tonight no matter how hard he tried! Costa was so pumped for this game and now it's time to have a good week of practice, enjoy Turkey day, and get ready to travel to Chaminade next Friday! Way to go Costa ... Keep that Stampede rolling!
Just found this blog.. FInally a place where there is some good south bay football talk.. Just wanted to say Congrats to Costa for rollin up QH without a problem.. i played LB at costa and was a senior when all these boyz were freshman.. knew they had something special...I was wondering if they got another shot at a home game? I know they are away at Chaminade this week.. but potential home game after that if they win? Just want to check these boyz out at packed house at Waller...nothing like it.. I play small college ball at chapman university and have not experienced anything like the feeling of playing a clear evening game at Waller Stadium...So to all those players ENJOY IT.. goes by much too quick.. Well go COSTA bring it Chaminade this week and take another step closer to bringing home the hardware and puttin paint up on the wall...Stoked for all u boyz keep it up
sorry mr.wright i was just to shock to hear that 2 marine league teams are out especially banning wtf happen.i would of been the first one to comment, i didnt see know one on.so i didnt bother posting any comments.i told you costa will win by 10 points or more.but damn did you see carson wow i went to the game they was hitting hard azz hell. but overall carson had a bad game on the offense 3 TD drop should of had 62 going into the 4th quarter. carson injured santee player they had to stop the game in the 4th quarter.again i feel sorry for santee they had good season and they also played hard. we was just to damn big and faster they are good in there league they placed 2nd in there division. but carson made the best player look so slow it wasnt even funny.it just look like carson was blitzing every play and we wasnt.

Wow, the South Bay can have three section winners this year. Carson- L.A.City Champion Div.I, Mira Costa-CIF Western Division, and Serra-CIF Northwest Division title and possibly a California State championship as well. Go South Bay!
For all that are looking for a good meal, ya'll can come on over to "Big Mama's" but I've got 10 rules ya'll have to go by!
10 RULES FOR THANKSGIVING
1. Don't get in line asking questions about the food. "Who made the
potato salad? Is it egg in there? Are the greens fresh? Is the meat in
the greens turkey or pork? Who made the macaroni and cheese?
What kind
of pie is that? Who made it? Ask one more question and I will punch you
in your mouth, knocking out all your fronts so you won't be able to eat
anything.
2. If you can't walk or are missing any limbs, sit your ass down until
someone makes your plate for you. Dinner time is not the time for you to
be independent. Nibble on them damn pecans and walnuts to hold you over
until someone makes you a plate.
3. If you have kids under the age of twelve, I will escort the little
moochers to the basement and bring their food down to them. They are not
gonna tear my damn house up this year. Tell them that they are not
allowed upstairs until it's time for Uncle Butchie to start telling
family stories about their mommas and papas. If they come upstairs for
any reason except for that they are bleeding to death, I will break a
foot off in their asses!
4. There is going to be one prayer for Thanksgiving dinner! JUST ONE! We
do not care that you are thankful that your 13 year old daughter gave
birth to a healthy baby or your nephew just got out of jail.
Save that
talk for somebody who gives a damn. The time limit for the prayer is one
minute. If you are still talking after that one minute is up, you will
feel something hard come across your lips and they will be swollen for
approximately 20 minutes.
5. Finish everything on your plate before you go up for seconds!
If you
don't, you will be cursed out and asked to stay your greedy ass home
next year!
6. BRING YOUR OWN TUPPERWARE!! Don't let me catch you fixing yourself a
plate in my good Tupperware knowing damn well that I will never see it
again! Furthermore, if you didn't bring anything over, don't let me
catch you making a plate period or there will be a "misunderstanding".
7. What you came with is what you should leave with!! Do not leave my
house with anything that doesn't belong to you. EVERYBODY WILL BE
SUBJECTED TO A BODY SEARCH COMING IN AND LEAVING MY PROPERTY!!!
8. Do not leave your kids so you can go hopping from house to house.
This is NOT a DAYCARE CENTER ! There will be a kid-parent roll call every
ten minutes. Any parent that is not present at the time of roll call,
your child will be put outside until you come and get him or her. After
24 hours, I will call DSS on your ignorant ass!!
9. BOOK YOUR HOTEL ROOM BEFORE YOU COME INTO TOWN!! There will be no
sleeping over at my house! You are to come and eat dinner and take your
ass home or to your hotel room. EVERYBODY GETS THE HELL OUT AT 11:00 pm.
You will get a 15
minute warning bell ring.
10. Last but not least! ONE PLATE PER PERSON!!! This is not a soup
kitchen. I am not trying to feed your family until Christmas dinner! You
will be supervised when you
fix your plate. Anything over the appropriate amount will be charged to
you before you leave. There will be a cash register at the door.

Regarding the Thanksgiving Invite from Big Mama! I am at work and someone I know just emailed me "Madea's 10 Rules for Thanksgiving"! It appears someone took these rules and put it down as coming from Big Mama! However, it appears to have seemed to be a thanksgiving breaking the ice type of message (HUMOR) (LOL) and I must admit there were some funny statements or rules in there, and some not too funny, but it made me chuckle mostly, because I could relate to some of those relatives, but not the Food Stamp analogy!
I only have two rules for Thanksgiving!
1. Let's be sure to sit around the Tube and watch the "Dallas Cowboys vs. Oakland Raiders" and "Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions"
2. Let's get back on the blogs after Friday's High School games and chop it up once again!!

Mr."T" or lady "T" why so much negative feelings towards the Oaks Christian program and Bill Redell. Could it be because you child was not accepted or was not good enough to get into Oaks, or is it because they been beating the crap out of your south bay teams (especially serra). Thats usually the kind of attitude people have when they get their back side handed to them year in and year out. Now I know for certain you are clueless about football by putting Don Morrow at top of coaching list. Morrow could not coach a flag football team even with your sorry BUTT on the team.....
Hold your horses, whoaaaaaaaaaa! Don Morrow not a good coach???? You may want to quibble with who did the best job this year but to assert that Coach Morrow is a poor coach is just ignorant. You got a problem with Coach Morrow?
Hold the crap up! Who's got a problem w/Coach Morrow! With the job he's done with his group of kids, you'd have to plainly be ignorant or know nothing about what it takes to be a DARN good coach!
You know what Go Costa and MustangFan, someone needs to lay off those extra-curricular substances they've been inhaling, wouldn't you agree? (The Truth)- That had to be one of the most ridiculous statements anyone has made on this blog in weeks! I'll just say this! If Mira Costa ends up winning their division? Morrow deserves coach of the year for the South Bay, hands down! If Serra or Carson also win than there will be some debate and rightfully so, but with the talent pool that both Serra and Carson have compared to Costa, it still would be tough for Morrow not to earn it!
Any person who thinks Morrow isn't a great coach is an idiot. And anyone who is jealous of Oaks because they are so darn great, is also an idiot.
i will not give oak christian head coach any credit i seen his team.they should be average 70+ point a game with that team. if you switch coaches don morrow to oak christian oak points per game will be alot higher.

Thanks for the Morrow love. But, Coach Morrow doesn't run up the score. With a big lead after the first half his first team sees little playing time. I've seen several games where the second team takes the field early in the third quarter and they don't throw a single pass. They just execute power running plays, eat up some clock, and sometimes put up additional points. This is one reason the stats for the Costa players isn't as impressive as some other individuals. But then again, individual stats is not part of the team concept taught at Costa.
