Ski, ride and golf all on the same day on Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth
Mountain Ski Area
is offering an opportunity for diehard snow skiers still dreaming of hitting the
slopes, fat
tire fans who want to challenge Mammoth’s network of trails and golfers
who are up for an afternoon round on California’s highest course –
all on the same day.

From Friday, June 25 through Monday, July 5, two
seasons
become one when visitors take advantage of the
Three-Way
Challenge Ski, Ride
and Golf Package
.

 For
only $99, outdoor enthusiasts can experience the ultimate Mammoth
triathlon.
The $99 package features a one-day ticket that gives guests unlimited
access to
the ski slopes, the mountain bike park and nine holes of afternoon golf
at
Sierra Star after 1 p.m.  Anyone who attempts conquering all three
activities in one day will be entered in a drawing to receive a
Cannondale
RZ140 mountain bike, a full set of TaylorMade R9 golf clubs, a pair of
K2 skis
with bindings or a Burton snowboard with bindings.

 With
so much to do in one day, guests who want to stay close to the outdoor
action
can take advantage of
4th
Night Free
Lodging Package

at Mammoth Mountain. Guests receive one free night of lodging for every
three
nights booked at the Mammoth Mountain Inn, The Village Lodge, Juniper
Springs
Resort or Tamarack Lodge.

 Thanks
to a bountiful winter, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area still has a snow base
of four
to eight feet at the upper elevations as of mid-June.  Much of the lower
elevation snow has melted, allowing mountain bikers to enjoy world-class
trails
suited to all abilities at the
Mammoth
Mountain Bike Park
. Sierra
Star Golf Course
, the highest golf course in
California at 8,000 feet above sea level, is also snow-free and ready
for
Three-Way Challenge participants.

 And
for the first time ever guests also have the option to fly to Mammoth
this
summer thanks to
direct
access
from LAX on Horizon Air.
Flights start from only $59 each way.
