Pomona College announces new vice president, dean of college

Cecilia Conrad has been appointed vice president and dean of Pomona College effective July 1, 2009. 
Currently on leave from the Pomona College faculty to serve a two-year term as vice president and dean of faculty at Scripps College, Conrad has been a member of the Pomona College faculty since 1995 and is the Stedman-Sumner Professor of Economics. 
Conrad will be the chief academic officer of Pomona College, responsible for the academic program and a member of the college's executive staff.
