Pomona environmental services provider General Environmental Management acquires Island Environmental Services

Pomona-based General Environmental Management Inc. has purchased Island Environmental Services Inc. The two companies have worked closely together over the past few years, and the combination of IES's personnel and equipment with GEM's resources will allow the company to "continue to build the premier environmental service provider in the industry," according to a news release.
