Education for Seniors -- a division of Security One Lending, will hold an informational seminar, "The Truth about Reverse Mortgages," taught by industry expert Randall Buffam at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 10 at the Sam J. Racadio Highland Library and Environmental Learning Center.

Lake Arrowhead-based Softimeline LLC has announced a new timeline authoring software tool to offer a fresh and imaginative way for computer users to present and view history, photos and memories, with appeal for everyone from professional content creators to "scrapbooking" hobbyists.
Slide shows and scrapbooks require information be viewed in the linear sequence dictated by the author, but according to the developer, Softimeline encourages random, interactive browsing.
Applications for the product include family, community and team histories; sporting events, legal evidence, diaries, military campaigns, scientific data, resumes and vacations; planning a screenplay or book...or importing existing PowerPoint slides into a Softimeline project for use as Event pages.

Under this relationship, Kids Headquarters will distribute children's activewear, sportswear, sleepwear, swimwear, outerwear and underwear. Available in sizes 0 - 20 for boys and girls, there will be extensive offerings of t-shirts, hoodies, shorts and even onesies, to create a noticeable increase in the offering throughout the youth category at all TapouT dealers worldwide.
San Bernardino-based Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp. has been awarded a contract worth more than $10 million.
This contract provides for the design, fabrication, integration and test of the Extended Area Protection and Survivability (EAPS) Battle Element (BE) prototype hardware. Work will be performed in San Bernardino, Calif., Huntsville, Ala., Redondo Beach, Calif., and Linthicum Heights, Md., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2012.
Bids solicited were via the Web and four bids were received. U.S. Army Contracting Command Aviation and missile Command Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the
contracting activity.
