High Desert hospital's new CEO begins job

   Catherine Pelley, the new chief executive at Victor Valley Community Hospital in Victorville, began her job on Monday.  Pelley was CEO of St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley from 1996 to 2002, and CEO of Glendale Memorial Hospital in 2008.  "She brings with her a broad depth of experience and knowledge in health care and hospital administration," a news release says.
