Pomona Valley Workshop, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving adults with disabilities with locations in Montclair and Pomona, has announced that EXCEED, a division of Valley Resource Center, awarded the Gladys Davies Lifetime Achievement Award to PVW's executive director, Karen Jones.  The award was presented to Jones by Rich Williams from the state Department of Developmental Services at EXCEED's 30th annual awards celebration on March 21.  Jones has spent more than 20 years working with PVW, which began providing services for adults with developmental disabilities in 1966.  The organization focuses on vocational training, employment preparation, job placement and support, senior citizen specialties, community access and integration opportunities.
