Women in Construction slate annual 'Showcase' event

   Inland Valley Chapter 140 of the National Association of Women In Construction will hold its annual Construction Industry Showcase at 6 p.m. May 14 at Pomona Valley Mining Co., 1777 W. Gillette Road, Pomona.  According to a news release, the event will honor scholarship recipients from area colleges who are majoring in construction-related programs, high school students who participated in the association's National Education Foundation Cad/Design Drafting Competition and grade-school pupils who participated in the Block Kids Contest.
