Highland native promoted to executive role with Merrill Lynch

Michael Salazar of Merrill Lynch's Ontario office has been promoted to assistant vice president. Salazar, a Highland native, has been a part of Merrill Lynch's Ontario office for seven years.  In his new role, he will be responsible for "analysis, implementation, and review of best in class solutions for his clientele," according to a news release.  Salazar also is a board member for the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council and the Hispanic Alumni Association at Cal State San Bernardino.  He chairs the Estate & Planned Giving Committee of the St. Bernardine Medical Center Foundation.
