I.E. groups to hold candidate recruitment event

The Inland Empire African-American Chamber of Commerce and an area political action committee will hold a Candidate Recruitment and Development Mixer at 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at Castaways Restaurant & Banquet Center, 670 Kendall Drive, San Bernardino.  The chamber and Citizens of the Inland Empire are inviting "anyone interested in running for elected office, but especially African-Americans," to come and learn about the process, according to a news release.  Reservations are required.  Information: citizensoftheinlandempire@gmail.com
