Riverside P.R. firm lands pact with Shasta County agency

Desmond McLeish Inc., a public-relations firm in Riverside, has been awarded a new contract with the Redding-based Shasta County Economic Development Corp.  The EDC is a public-private partnership tasked with promoting jobs and increased economic activity in Shasta County.  According to a news release, the goal of the public-relations program is "to aid in business retention, expansion and to a lesser extent attraction from August 2009 to July of 2010."
