ULV completes first LEED building

The University of La Verne has completed its three-story, 40,000-square-foot Sara and Michael Abraham Campus Center -- which, upon final approval, will be the first Silver LEED-rated "green" building in La Verne, according to a news release.  "Designed by Gonzalez Goodale Architects of Pasadena and constructed by K.A.R.  Construction of Ontario, the Campus Center is the final piece of the university's three-stage, $26.1 million Campus Center Project, which included expansive renovations to the Sports Science and Athletics Pavilion, creation of the Frank and Nadine Johnson Family Plaza and construction of the Campus Center," the release states.
