The Inland Empire chapter of the American Advertising Federation will hold its annual Inland Empire Media Auction from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at Cafe Sevilla, 3252 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside.  The event raises money for advertising scholarships for local students.  "Local radio stations, newspapers, magazines, billboards and other media outlets donate ads or schedules to the event, which are then auctioned off to the highest bidder," according to a news release.  Donation of items and services are being accepted for the auction.  Information: Mark Landon, (909) 986-7502; aaf-inlandempire.com
