Agency liquidates credit union in Victorville, sells its assets

The National Credit Union Administration on Wednesday liquidated the Members' Own Federal Credit Union in Victorville and accepted Alaska USA Federal Credit Union's offer to purchase and assume the credit union, according to an agency news release.  Alaska USA Federal Credit Union purchased and assumed Victorville credit union's assets, loans and shares, and members should see no interruptions in service, officials said.  Members' Own Federal Credit Union had $85 million in assets and served 11,000 members.  With assets of $4.1 billion, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union serves about 375,000 members in Alaska, California and Washington state.
